Role Overview
As a Business Development Associate at FinGuru, you will be the engine of our growth. Your primary objective is to identify, engage, and qualify potential clients looking for financial assistance. You will handle a diverse portfolio of loan products, including Personal Loans, Business Loans, Mortgage Loans, and Credit Lines. This is a results-oriented remote role requiring high energy, persuasive communication, and a knack for finding needles in the haystack.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Active Sourcing: Identify potential loan seekers through digital platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, Justdial), cold calling, and networking.
Market Research: Stay updated on different loan products and interest rates to better pitch FinGurus competitive advantages.
Database Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects using google sheet to ensure no lead goes cold.
2. Client Engagement & Qualification
Initial Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and send personalized emails/messages to explain loan options.
Need Analysis: Assess client requirements (loan amount, purpose, repayment capacity) and verify eligibility based on FinGurus criteria.
Consultative Selling: Guide clients on the best-suited loan products for their specific financial situation.
3. Documentation & Coordination
Document Collection: Assist clients in gathering necessary KYC and financial documents for loan processing.
Seamless Handoff: Ensure qualified leads and their documentation are accurately passed to the Credit/Processing team for final approval.
Follow-up: Maintain regular contact with leads to clear any hurdles in the loan application journey.
4. Target Achievement
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for Qualified Leads and Loan Log-ins.
Participate in daily virtual team huddles to report progress and refine outreach strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Freshers with high aptitude are welcome).
Experience: Prior experience in lead generation, telecalling, or banking/financial services is a plus.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication in English and Hindi (Regional languages are a bonus).
Persistence: A never-give-up attitude with the ability to handle rejections and stay motivated.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Google Sheet, WhatsApp Business.

Base Pay
The base pay is a fixed monthly salary of 10,000. This amount is earned by meeting the standard performance expectation of processing up to 20 lakh in loan volumes per month.
Full Target: If the 20 lakh target is met or exceeded, the full 10,000 base salary is paid.
Partial Achievement: If the 20 lakh target is not met, the salary is calculated proportionally as 1% of half of the total loan amount achieved (., processing 10 lakh results in a 5,000 salary).
Incentives (Commission)
Incentives are performance-based rewards for exceeding the initial monthly threshold.
Rate: Employees earn an additional 1,000 for every 5 lakh in loans processed beyond the first 20 lakh.
Example: If an employee processes 50 lakh in a month, they receive their 10,000 base pay plus 6,000 in incentives (for the 6 additional lots of 5 lakh), totaling 16,000 for the month.
