Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Day-to-Day AccountingVoucher & Ledger Management: Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, cash/bank vouchers, journal entries) accurately in Tally Prime / ERP systems.Bank & Cash Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, monitor cash flows, and manage petty cash expenses.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track customer outstanding, follow up on pending payments, and process vendor bill clearances and payments on schedule.Taxation, Statutory Compliance & AuditsGST & TDS Computations: Calculate and prepare monthly/quarterly GST returns, handle e-way bill generation, and ensure timely deduction and filing of TDS.Audit Assistance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, collating financial statements, ledger proofs, purchase/sales invoices, and tax challans.Financial Reporting: Generate daily/weekly cash flow statements, trial balances, profit & loss statements, and aging reports in MS Excel for management review.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns.Assist in financial statement preparation and audits.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End & Year-End Close: Lead and execute the full month-end close cycle, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and complex balance sheet reconciliations.Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with GAAP or IFRS, and analyze budget-to-actual variances.Audit & Tax Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax preparers, and financial institutions; prepare audit schedules, tax workpapers, and compliance filings.Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Evaluate and strengthen internal accounting controls, workflows, and procedures to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, review the work of, and mentor junior accountants and bookkeeping staff, providing training and professional support.Cross-Functional & Ad-Hoc Support: Collaborate with finance leadership, department heads, and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor ManagementSourcing & Supplier Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Obtain multiple quotations, compare commercial terms, negotiate pricing and payment terms (e.g., credit lines, discounts), and finalize purchase agreements.Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors, evaluate vendor performance regularly (on-time delivery, product quality, compliance), and resolve supplier issues or disputes promptly.Order Processing & Inventory CoordinationPurchase Order (PO) Management: Review purchase requisitions from internal departments (production, stores, office), raise accurate Purchase Orders (POs), and route them for managerial approval.Delivery Tracking & Logistics: Follow up continuously with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of ordered items.Quality & Store Coordination: Coordinate with storekeepers and quality control teams upon material arrival to verify physical stocks against invoice details, PO terms, and delivery challans.Documentation & ReconciliationBill Processing: Verify supplier invoices against POs and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN); submit verified bills to the accounts department for payment processing.ERP & Inventory Records: Update and maintain systematic purchasing data, vendor lists, pricing records, and stock balances in ERP or accounting systems.
