Minimum 2 to 3 Years hands-on Working experience in SAP on local servers SAP Basis administration and support, technical support, transport management, batch management and production support for SAP environment SAP application experience : ECC 6.0, CRM, Netweaver 7.5 SAP systems installation, optimization, migration and maintenance SAP client administration and monitoring (work processes, logs, users, short dumps, traces, disk space and resource utilization) SAP Backup/Restore (Sybase) management. SAP GUI installation, User management, Analysis of ABAP Dumps, Updating Support Patches Monitoring Background job and scheduling job Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, recoverability of the SAP and related systems Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of SAP Systems Proactively analyze SAP environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Overall maintenance of Networking, Firewall, Server Hardware & Storage by co coordinating with network support team. Acting as a point of contact for SAP Technical related questions and problems Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to information systems. Maintain technical infrastructure reference documents such as technical architecture, interface references, hardware and software assets

Job ProfileBI Applications (SAP BO) Administration. Tableau knowledge is added advantageEnsuring with Datacenter team that respective server OS,is hardened , updated with latest patches and security settings.Maintaining Non-Production and Production landscapes .Job and Report scheduling.Interaction with relevant Teams both internal and external partners for solutionsMonitoring the health of the servers, application, DB and initiatingimprovementsCo-coordinating Backup and mock-drill of application backups at defined frequency.Key Deliverables ( Quantifiable dimensions ) of the jobHandling Administrative Role, server maintenance independently with minimum downtime and good user experience. Ensuring good user experience: by taking care of Space management, network monitoring, CPU performance etc. by monitoring, defining the acceptable/ threshold limits and taking the needed corrective action proactively.Defining and monitoring the daily/ weekly/ monthly activities and taking corrective actions where needed proactively.Identifying,, suggesting and initiating areas of improvements .Defining and adherence to SLAs for development users and Business users.Upgrade of the versions/patches: Testing of objects and documentation before deployment.Defining procedure for critical activity and simulating such as restoring of backup etc.Required experience / skills Right PersonHaving minimum 2 years experience in administrative role in an environment of Business Intelligence (BI) applications (SAP BO//Tableau/ IBM Cognos will begiven preference) and managing end to end independently.Good knowledge and experience on jobs Scheduling and BI Reports scheduling .Having experience in any of the following will add preference : understanding on Operating systems(OS), troubleshooting in OS ,knowledge and able to write scripts in shell (linux,windows,etc) .Certification would be preferred .
