Job Profile

ï‚·BI Applications (SAP BO) Administration. Tableau knowledge is added advantage

ï‚·Ensuring with Datacenter team that respective server OS,is hardened , updated with latest patches and security settings.

ï‚·Maintaining Non-Production and Production landscapes .

ï‚·Job and Report scheduling.ï‚·Interaction with relevant Teams both internal and external partners for solutions

ï‚·Monitoring the health of the servers, application, DB and initiatingimprovementsï‚·Co-coordinating Backup and mock-drill of application backups at defined frequency.

Key Deliverables ( Quantifiable dimensions ) of the job

ï‚·Handling Administrative Role, server maintenance independently with minimum downtime and good user experience. Ensuring good user experience: by taking care of Space management, network monitoring, CPU performance etc. by monitoring, defining the acceptable/ threshold limits and taking the needed corrective action proactively.

ï‚·Defining and monitoring the daily/ weekly/ monthly activities and taking corrective actions where needed proactively.

ï‚·Identifying,, suggesting and initiating areas of improvements .

Defining and adherence to SLA’s for development users and Business users.

ï‚·Upgrade of the versions/patches: Testing of objects and documentation before deployment.

ï‚·Defining procedure for critical activity and simulating such as restoring of backup etc.

Required experience / skills Right Person

Having minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative role in an environment of Business Intelligence (BI) applications (SAP BO//Tableau/ IBM Cognos will begiven preference) and managing end to end independently.

ï‚·Good knowledge and experience on jobs Scheduling and BI Reports scheduling .

ï‚·Having experience in any of the following will add preference : understanding on Operating systems(OS), troubleshooting in OS ,knowledge and able to write scripts in shell (linux,windows,etc) .

ï‚·Certification would be preferred .
