Job Description (JD)We are looking for an experienced and qualified Safety Officer/EHS Officer for our IMDC, Noida Project to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at the project site.Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities at the project site.Ensure compliance with BOCWA-1996, statutory regulations, and client safety requirements.Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers and staff.Ensure proper usage of PPE by all employees and contractors.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.Maintain safety records, permits, registers, and documentation.Coordinate with client representatives and project teams on EHS matters.Monitor work permits for high-risk activities such as height work, hot work, lifting operations, and electrical work.Ensure emergency preparedness and conduct mock drills as required.Qualification & Experience:Degree/Diploma from a recognized University.Mandatory 1 Year Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety Management (ADIS).Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer/EHS Officer in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or project sites.Good knowledge of BOCWA-1996, safety standards, and statutory compliance.Strong communication and reporting skills.Preferred:Experience in Data Center, Industrial, Infrastructure, or Large Construction Projects.Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:1. Implement and maintain radiation safety programs: Develop and ensure compliance with radiation safety policies and procedures to minimize exposure risks to employees and the public.2. Conduct radiation safety training: Provide training sessions to staff on safe handling of radioactive materials, radiation protection techniques, and emergency procedures.3. Monitor radiation levels: Regularly measure and monitor radiation levels in designated areas to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.4. Investigate incidents: Investigate and report any radiation incidents or accidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.5. Maintain records: Keep detailed records of radiation sources, exposure levels, inspections, and training sessions to ensure documentation compliance.6. Liaise with regulatory agencies: Serve as the main point of contact for interactions with regulatory agencies regarding radiation safety matters.Required Skills and Expectations:1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Physics, Radiation Protection, or Nuclear Engineering.2. Certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) is preferred.3. Strong knowledge of radiation safety regulations and best practices.4. Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and communicate with regulatory agencies.5. Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding radiation safety protocols.6. Experience in conducting radiation surveys and using radiation detection equipment.

Process Safety- To serve as the Process safety subject matter expert by providing technical expertise on Project Hazard study-related matters. Provide guidance to the Scaffolding team in implementing PSM standards, industry consensus standard /guidance and for establishing sound PSM systems from the design stage. Contractor Safety- To serve as the Contractor safety subject matter expert across the Plant by providing technical expertise on all contractor safety-related matters. Provide guidance to line management on implementing internal six-step contractor safety standards, industry consensus standard /guidance, and for establishing sound contractor safety management systems. Field Safety- To serve as a field safety professional for the division by providing technical expertise on safety related matters. Provide guidance and support to line management on implementing safety standards, safety guideline. Coordinate and ensure safety related legal compliancesPROCESS SAFETY To provide technical support on the development of internal PSM standards or improvements for existing standards. To provide technical consulting support for the development of internal PSM competencies throughout the organization by coordinating and conducting various training, coaching, SkillsExperience in Operations / Maintenance departments or equivalent within the organization.Implementation of comprehensive PSM /CSM/Safety standards programs within an integrated steel plant or other industry sector with high hazard operations.1.
