Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)Job SummaryThe Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generatingqualified leads, building strong relationships, and converting opportunities into successful deals. Therole demands persistence, accountability, and proactive communication.Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and qualify potential leads through platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Clutch, and email campaigns. Research industries, companies, and decision-makers to build strong prospect lists. Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities in the company CRM.2. Proposal Writing & Bidding Draft high-quality proposals, responses, and presentations for Upwork and LinkedIn clients. Understand client requirements and prepare tailored project pitches with clear pricing anddeliverables. Maintain high responsiveness and proposal conversion rate.3. Client Communication & Relationship Management Conduct meetings, demos, and follow-ups with clients to understand needs and close deals. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients for repeat business. Handle objections and provide effective solutions in collaboration with the technical team.4. Target Achievement Work with monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Meet or exceed KPIs in lead generation, meetings booked, and project conversions. Track performance regularly with management and identify areas of improvement.5. Reporting & Coordination Maintain accurate data in CRM and share daily/weekly progress reports. Coordinate with the operations and delivery team for project handovers and client updates. Participate in regular review meetings and strategy discussions.Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. 6 months to 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT / software developmentindustry. Strong knowledge of Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other B2B lead generationtools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency is a must). Understanding of software services such as Web/Mobile App Development, AI/MLSolutions, Healthcare Tech, and SaaS platforms. Ability to write effective proposals, negotiate terms, and handle objections professionally. Result-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.What We Expect Ownership: Must take complete responsibility for assigned tasks and leads. Consistency: Daily tracking and reporting of leads, follow-ups, and conversions is mandatory. Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn company offerings, case studies, and client successstories. Proactive Communication: Should not wait for instructions must take initiative to reachout and follow up.
