URGENT REQUIREMENT PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR KARJAN BASED MANUFACTURING PLANTJOB DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN BELOWQualification: Diploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, preferably from GujaratExperience: Minimum 5-7 Years (Graduate) or 7-10 Years (Diploma) in production department of precision fabrication, tube mill or EPC Company at middle management levelPre-requisite: He should be a Gujarati speaking person, with good personality to enforce strict discipline in the workshop and master command on the workers and tactful in dealing with the other stakeholders like Maintenance dept, QA/QC, Materials Management, Marketing, etc.Responsibilities: He would be responsible to keep the production running within a timebound schedule, achieve the delivery schedule as set and agreed by the company, keep the Machines in good condition with minimum downtime, alerts the maintenance dept for the breakdown immediately and gets them to work timely, Zero rejection, minimum wastage / scrap generation within the tolerances decided by the company, no pilferage or wastage of material of KWH due to idle machine running, ensures maximum presence of the workers/supervisors, keep the staff upto date on their goals and targets, ensure that the workers use protective gears and follow safety guidelines, maintains Job cards, production reports and machine downtime reports.Additional Requirement: It would be an added advantage if he is hands on in Project management and site management, also in maintaining good harmony with the workers and keep them motivated, maintain good interpersonal relations with other departments, maintain clear and transparent communication within and outside the department, help company in getting the desired manpower in case of absence, leave, shortage or attrition.
