As a Piping Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include creating detailed piping designs and layouts for various industrial projects, such as refineries, chemical plants, and power plants. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that the designs meet all required specifications and standards.Key responsibilities:- Develop piping and equipment layouts in 2D and 3D using software such as AutoCAD, E3D, and Navisworks- Perform piping stress analysis and support design calculations

Job description1) Read & understanding client requirement from tender documents2) Preparation of design basis documents like process datasheets, calculations based on tender specifications3) Preparation of technical inquiry documents for mechanical equipment & valves etc.4) Preparation of mechanical datasheets as per detail engineering & tender specifications5) Vendor communication/ Client communication for technical clearance6) Client/ Consultant visit for Drawing-Documents approval7) Preparation of BOQ8) Basic process knowledge of Water treatment plant9) Checking of detail engineering drawings10) Coordination with sales team and customer for technical issue and documents approval11) Coordination with manufacturing to meet customer requirements12) Corrective and preventive action taken for the design problems reported during manufacturing13) Documentation and data control of engineering/projects.

Tend to work with simple materials such as copper, PVC, and galvanized pipe systems in residential plumbing projects.Assists Pipe Fitter to assemble and install piping for air, ammonia, gas, and water systems: Cuts or drills holes in walls to permit passage of pipes, using a pneumatic drill. Assists Pipe Fitter to install valves, couplings, and other fittings. May disassemble and remove the damaged or worn pipe.
