The island of Ireland has an abundant mining sector, with active mines of gold, base metals, gypsum and salt. Mining and exploration is carried out by the private sector. Mine geologists study the relationship between geology and ore formation and locate new mineral resources. They are mainly responsible for assessing and analysing geological data in order to advise on short-term and long-term mine production plans. There are opportunities to work for private sector organsations. Highly qualified and experienced mine geologists may set up an independent consultancy service.Work activities:-Conducting surveys and interpreting geological data in order to inform drilling and production procedures.Ensuring all procedures adhere to health and safety regulations and pit mapping.Liaising with a range of experts including other geologists, engineers, metallurgy experts and mine workers.Keeping up to date with current geological research.Producing written reports.

Fresher / Civil background / SurveyorExperience in GIS applications such as Arc GIS and QGIS will be preferred.Experience in handling various survey equipment, such as LiDAR, DGPS, Auto Level and Total Station.Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).He will be required to stay on the project site for a 45 to 60 days at a stretch and will be responsible for data acquisition according to the projectData acquisition will be done either by vehicle or foot survey/on Bike and he will be expected to work in all climates and any terrains.He will have to travel on-site, Pan India, or abroad according to requirements, for the field surveys, and according to the location of the projects.

We are looking GIS Engineer with minimum 4 Years Experience,Educational qualification of : B.Tech, M.Tech with Good knowledge in Auto cad, GIS Engineer, GIS Executive, QGIS etc

The GIS Expert will be responsible for all aspects of GIS Data Management, Data Verification, Analysis and visualization within the organization. This will involve working with a variety of spatial datasets, utilizing GIS software to perform spatial analysis, Data Verification and creating maps and reports to communicate findings, well equipped with the QA& QC procedures for to verify the data quality. Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in GIS data development, data management and analysis/verification (QA/QC). Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS, any other open source GIS tool will be advantage added Strong understanding of spatial analysis techniques and cartography. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
