Job Summary:The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in the preparation of reports. This role ensures accurate accounting, compliance with statutory regulations, and timely processing of accounts-related tasks.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.Record payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately.Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.Ensure timely and accurate posting of vouchers, invoices, and expenses.2. Accounts Payable & ReceivablePrepare and process supplier/vendor payments.Monitor customer accounts and follow up on pending receivables.Assist in preparation of bills, invoices, and payment reminders.3. Financial Reporting & ComplianceAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).4. Payroll & Staff Reimbursements (if applicable)Assist in processing staff salaries, deductions, and reimbursements.Maintain accurate records of leave, advances, and reimbursements.5. Coordination & MiscellaneousCoordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions.Maintain proper filing of all financial documents for easy retrieval.Support the Accounts Manager in ad-hoc finance-related tasks and projects.Required Skills & Competencies:Proficient in accounting software (Tally, Busy, SAP, or similar).Strong MS Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.Strong numerical and analytical ability.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.13 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in an educational institution or corporate environment.
