- handle inbound calls or enquiries from prospective customers and respond with product information, showroom details, pricing, offers, etc.
- maintain and update a database of leads, customer interactions and follow‐ups in the company crm or lead-tracking system
- develop and maintain detailed knowledge of sreemati furnishing’s products (furniture categories, furnishings, accessories, promotional packages) so that you can confidently respond to customer queries and recommend appropriate items.
- ask probing questions to understand customer requirements (room size, style preference, budget, delivery timing etc) and guide them accordingly
- work with the showroom sales team to schedule appointments or site visits for qualified leads, thereby facilitating conversions.
- follow up with leads at appropriate intervals (via phone, whatsapp, email) to nurture interest, address objections, and convert into showroom visits or orders.
- track and help meet individual targets (calls made, appointments scheduled, leads converted) and support the showroom’s revenue goals.
- coordinate with internal teams (sales, dispatch, inventory) to ensure timely hand-over of information once a lead converts into an order.
- provide excellent customer interaction: maintain professionalism, courteous attitude, active listening, and clear communication.
- record any special customer requests, complaints or feedback received during calls and escalate or coordinate resolution with relevant departments (logistics, installation, service).
- build and maintain relationships with repeat customers or referrals, contributing to long-term customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- maintain accurate logs of call records: number of calls, outcomes, next-steps, lead sources, follow-up schedules.
- provide periodic reports to sales or marketing management on trends observed (customer preferences, competitor offers, market needs) and suggest improvements in tele-outreach scripts or product offerings.
- adhere to company guidelines, scripts, brand messaging, data privacy & documentation standards.
- work closely with the showroom sales team, marketing department and dispatch/installation units to ensure seamless customer experience from call to delivery.
- participate in training sessions to stay updated on new product launches, promotions, company policies, crm tools and tele-marketing best practices.
- meet assigned targets while maintaining call quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with process norms.
