key responsibilities and duties
outbound calling (primary focus):
initiate outbound calls to prospective customers using prepared lists and scripts to introduce and promote the company's products or services.
conduct cold calling to generate new sales leads and opportunities.
follow up with existing customers or leads generated through marketing campaigns to encourage sales or appointments.
customer engagement & sales:
explain the features, advantages, and benefits of products/services clearly and persuasively.
ask targeted questions to understand customer requirements and needs.
handle customer objections, concerns, and uncertainties effectively to convert calls into sales or qualified leads.
achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, lead generation, or sales.
inbound handling (where applicable):
receive inbound calls from customers or prospects to address general inquiries, provide information, or resolve basic issues.
provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
data management & reporting:
accurately record and update all customer interactions, including details of the conversation, follow-up status, and customer information in the crm (customer relationship management) system.
maintain the database of customers and prospective clients on a regular basis.
prepare and submit daily call activity reports to the team leader or sales manager.
