this is a full-time, on-site role for a business development manager. the position is located in bangalore. the business development manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, handling negotiations, preparing proposals, and meeting sales targets. additionally, the candidate will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and collaborate with internal teams to promote business growth.
responsibilities:
lead and manage a team of inside sales executives, driving them to meet and exceed sales targets.
drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
track team performance and implement coaching interventions where needed.
monitor sales kpis and generate daily/weekly reports for leadership review.
collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and ops teams to improve funnel efficiency.
create a performance-driven culture and ensure continuous skill development within the team.
manage end-to-end sales processes, including pitch, negotiation, and closures.
requirements:
education: graduate (minimum qualification).
experience: minimum 4 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in edtech sales and 1-3 years of team handling experience in edtech.
proven ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing sales professionals.
strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
willingness to work from our bangalore office (wfo).
