- lead, manage and optimise the overall store operations to ensure seamless functioning �� opening/closing, staff scheduling, shift overlaps, store standards.
- set, monitor and drive sales targets and kpis (., revenue, units sold, average transaction value) for the store. analyse sales performance, identify growth opportunities (new appliances, premium upgrades, accessories) and drive action plans.
- develop and execute merchandising, display and product-presentation plans so that major home-appliance & consumer durable categories (refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, etc) are showcased to maximise customer interest and conversion.
- recruit, onboard, train and develop store staff (sales associates, after-sales/field-service coordinators, store assistants) to ensure they have product knowledge (home appliances features, energy ratings, warranties), selling skills and service mindset.
- lead the store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience: guide staff in product demonstrations, feature-benefit selling, cross-selling accessories and service plans, handling customer complaints or escalations professionally and ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- monitor inventory levels for major appliances and accessories, ensure optimal stock replenishment to avoid out-of-stock situations on fast-moving skus, and manage excess inventory of slower/older models.
- liaise with procurement, logistics, regional warehouse and service teams to coordinate deliveries, store-receipts, floor replenishment and backwards sell-through of demos or display units.
- provide local market/competitive feedback (neighbouring retailers, competitor pricing and promotions of home appliances) to help refine the store��s positioning and promotional strategy.
- oversee the store��s customer service processes: ensure seamless hand-over to service/field-engineer teams, proper communication of warranty/installation terms, record-keeping of customer interactions and follow-up of open service cases.
- handle escalated customer complaints and warranty claims in-store; ensure solutions are found quickly, service visits scheduled, spare-parts followed up and customer satisfaction is maintained.
- prepare and present store performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly): sales vs target, footfall, conversion rates, average transaction value, stock-turn, inventory ageing, refund/return rates, service complaint rates, cost & expense variances.
- work with the finance/regional team to manage store budgets: staffing cost, utilities, local marketing spends, shrinkage/wastage allowance, and take corrective action to maintain store profitability.
