A Recruitment Specialist in a manufacturing company manages end-to-end hiring for industrial roles, from sourcing skilled technicians to onboarding production staff. They partner with plant managers to fill roles quickly, reducing downtime, while ensuring compliance with safety and labor laws. Key duties include sourcing via specialized platforms, conducting technical interviews, and managing high-volume hiring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 5 Years Proven experience as a recruitment specialist, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse candidates, from shop floor employees to senior engineering staff.

Organization: Ability to manage high-volume hiring and multiple, urgent vacancies simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment: Build applicant pools for roles such as machine operators, engineers, maintenance technicians, and quality inspectors using J' Recruiting Specialist methods, including LinkedIn, job boards, and job fairs.

Manufacturing Focus: Understand technical requirements for roles

Hiring Process Management: Create job descriptions, screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate in-person interviews and plant tours.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with plant managers and HR to establish hiring plans and define selection criteria.

Compliance & Administration: Ensure all hiring complies with legal standards, including safety certifications and background checks.

Metrics Reporting: Track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
