Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer with experience in the interior fit-outs and contracting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, preparing proposals, and supporting project execution to drive revenue growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
Build relationships with corporate clients, real estate developers, architects, interior designers, and consultants
Convert leads into confirmed projects and achieve assigned sales targets
Client Relationship Management
1 strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
2 Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction
3 Collect client feedback and coordinate with internal teams for service improvements
Market Research & Business Strategy
1 Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
2 Identify new sectors and geographical areas for expansion
3 Support strategic initiatives to enhance market presence
Proposal & Contract Management
1 Prepare and present proposals, quotations, tenders, and bids
2 Coordinate with design and project teams to develop feasible and competitive proposals
3 Negotiate and close contracts in line with company policies
Internal Coordination
1 Work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams
2 Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations
3 Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
Branding & Networking
1 Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events
2 Support brand awareness initiatives in the interior fit-out market
3 Utilize digital channels to generate leads and improve brand visibility
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field
Strong industry network in real estate, interior design, or contracting
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
Knowledge of estimation, budgeting, and contract negotiation is an advantage
