a business development executive (bde) in field sales is a sales professional who helps a company grow by identifying and developing new business opportunities. their responsibilities include:

identifying opportunities: researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to find potential new clients and markets

attracting clients: contacting potential clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings

building relationships: maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing rapport with key decision makers

creating sales strategies: developing and implementing new sales strategies, and setting sales goals

managing sales: overseeing the sales process, managing virtual and in-person sales meetings, and ensuring excellent customer service
