Products used and supported in this effort include, but are not limited to,VMware GemFire and Redis Enterprise. Installation and configuration of GemFire, Redis Enterprise, Redis Open Sourcein AWS and On-premises. Work with development staff and teammates to design caching and searchsolutions. Assist development staff in solving application issues with respect to use ofGemFire, Redis. Provide immediate support for GemFire and Redis clusters in all stages (Dev toProd). Manage platform lifecycle, including upgrades, patching, and adherence toEOL/EOGS timelines. Analyze Java performance and capacity statistics and provide recommendationsto improve performance. Maintain and author utilities and plugins in Java. Maintain and author administrative shell scripts. Provide support for weekend implementation and Disaster Recovery tests. Build system documentation and diagrams. Assist in KT/training of less experienced engineers and frontline supportpersonnel.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, ElectronicEngineering, or related field and 3-4 years of experience in the job or relatedposition.Prior experience to include: Installation and configuration of VMware GemFire, Redis Enterprise/OpenSource (from Redis Labs, Inc.) in AWS and on-premises, on Linux.
