As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Manage Daily Operations:** Supervise the daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow and efficient output. This involves coordinating tasks among team members and addressing any operational issues that arise.- **Quality Control:** Monitor the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards. You will need to identify defects and implement corrective actions quickly.- **Train and Guide Staff:** Provide training to new employees and ongoing support to existing staff. This includes instructing them on safety practices and proper machine operation.- **Maintain Production Records:** Keep detailed records of production metrics, inventory levels, and machine maintenance schedules. This documentation is essential for analyzing performance and improving processes.- **Collaborate with Other Departments:** Work closely with other teams, such as maintenance and supply chain, to ensure resources and support are available for successful production.To be successful in this role, you should have a background in industrial training (I.T.I.) and a willingness to learn. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be leading a team and coordinating efforts between different departments. You should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Being proactive in solving problems and making improvements in the production process will also be expected. The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of engineering materials, machinery, components, tools, consumables, and services required for production and projects. The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, timely availability of materials, vendor development, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
