Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Plant / Unit Head to lead operations of our Distillery Ethanol Manufacturing Unit in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in industrial fermentation, alcohol technology, and extensive experience in managing large-scale distillery operations.Qualification:B.Sc. in Science (Chemistry/Biochemistry preferred)Diploma in Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol TechnologyAdditional qualifications in distillery operations/fermentation technology will be preferred.Experience Required:Minimum 20 years of experience in the distillery/ethanol industry.Minimum 7-10 years of experience handling Plant Head / Unit Head responsibilities.Proven experience managing end-to-end operations of ethanol/distillery plants.Key Responsibilities:Manage overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and efficiency improvement.Lead distillery and fermentation processes to achieve production targets and quality standards.Ensure smooth functioning of ethanol manufacturing operations with optimal utilization of resources.Drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and process enhancement initiatives.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental norms, and safety standards.Manage and mentor plant teams across departments.Coordinate with senior management for strategic planning and operational excellence.Desired Skills:Strong technical knowledge of fermentation processes and alcohol production technology.Hands-on experience in ethanol plant operations.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Experience managing large manpower and cross-functional teams.
