Responsibilities:Quality Inspection & Testing:Perform thorough quality inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods as per established Quality Control Plans and specifications.Conduct various tests (e.g., dimensional checks, functional tests, visual inspections) using appropriate inspection tools and equipment (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, software testing tools).Verify product/service against drawings, specifications, and quality checklists.Defect Identification & Reporting:Identify, categorize, and document any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards.Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper containment of defective materials/products.Report critical quality issues immediately to the supervisor and relevant departments.Documentation & Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality inspections, test results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports, summaries, and trend analyses.Ensure all quality documentation is up-to-date and easily retrievable.Standard Adherence & Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to company quality management system (QMS) procedures, work instructions, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific standards like IATF 16949, ISO 13485, or GMP, depending on the sector).Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.Root Cause Analysis Support:Support the QA/Production team in investigating the root causes of quality issues, customer complaints, and recurring defects.Assist in implementing and verifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Process Monitoring:Monitor production processes and operational steps to ensure quality parameters are being met at each stage.Provide feedback to production personnel on quality concerns and best practices.Equipment Management Support:Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE).Continuous Improvement Contribution:Participate in and support quality improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke) to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and reduce waste.Safety & Housekeeping:Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping practices in the inspection areas.Communication (Local Emphasis):Communicate clearly and effectively with production teams, supervisors, and other internal departments regarding quality issues and requirements.Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for effective interaction with shop-floor staff and local vendors. Good English proficiency is required for documentation, understanding specifications, and interaction with senior management.

Responsibilities:Inspection & Testing:Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods as per defined specifications, control plans, and sampling procedures.Perform various tests (e.g., dimensional checks, functional tests, visual inspections, destructive/non-destructive tests, as applicable to the product/industry) using appropriate measuring instruments and testing equipment.Operate and maintain quality testing instruments and equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and calibration status.Defect Identification & Reporting:Identify, document, and report any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards immediately.Segregate non-conforming materials/products and ensure proper tagging and disposition.Generate clear and concise inspection reports and test summaries.Documentation & Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality inspections, test results, non-conformity reports, and corrective actions.Assist in preparing and updating quality documentation, including inspection checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality processes, and quality control plans.Standard Adherence & Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to company quality policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards (e.g., basic understanding of ISO 9001 principles, product-specific standards like BIS, etc.).Monitor production processes to ensure that quality parameters are consistently met at various stages.Root Cause Analysis Support:Assist senior QA personnel or engineers in investigating the root causes of quality issues, customer complaints, and recurring defects.Support the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Calibration Support:Support the periodic calibration of inspection and testing equipment, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring the availability of calibrated instruments.Feedback & Communication:Provide timely feedback on quality issues to the Production team, informing them of deviations and assisting in immediate rectification.Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other departmental personnel regarding quality matters.Continuous Improvement:Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction efforts on the shop floor.Safety & Housekeeping:Adhere to all safety regulations and good housekeeping practices in the workplace, especially in testing and inspection areas.Local Communication:Communicate clearly and effectively with the production team, supervisors, and other colleagues.
