QA QC Inspector Job Vacancies in Mumbai

The QC supervisors/ inspectors for mechanical/marine Engineering section shall be able to undertake following:-(i) Overseeing of defect rectification of main engines and associated controlpanels.(ii) Inspection of Machinery components such as pistons, crankshaft, valves,piston rings, component casting etc during various stages of machinery overhaul.(iii) Trials of engineering machinery such as compressors, diesel engines,DAs, pumps, HP compressor, ACs etc as per laid down documents/drawings.(iv) Pressure testing, jigging and erection of pipes and valves.(v) Checking alignments and clearances between two mating components.(vi) Undertaking measurements of various mechanical components usingmechanical precision measuring equipments like calipers, screw gauges,micrometers dial gauges etc.(vii) Undertake Dimensional measurements at all stages of repair/manufacturing.(viii) Inspections of various NDT techniques such as Radiography, Ultrasoundetc applicable for engineering repairs and production methodology.(ix) Gauging of various components of Engineering equipment.(x) Chemical cleaning & proof testing (Pressure/ vacuum testing).(xi) Visuals Inspections during assembling / Fitments.(xii) Alignment checks of Engine and DAs.(xiii) In House / Onboard trials (Harbour Acceptance Trials) of equipment /machinery.

We are looking for 2 qc inspector Posts in Vasai East,ISO Coordinator, with deep knowledge in QA-Quality Assurance,Quality Control,Production Control, ISO Coordinator and Required Educational Qualification is : Diploma, B.Tech/B.E

The person employed for bare pipe inspection shall be technically qualified and trained in steel plate and line pipe manufacturing procedures as well as in the testing of API 5L quality SAW/HFERW/ Seamless pipe as applicable.The inspector should also be qualified as per ASNT level II-in UT, RT, PT & MT and should be fully conversant with API-ASME codes for pipe and APIRP codes for transportation and handling of pipes and other relevant codes as applicable for bare pipe inspection.
