Position Summary: The Junior Program Associate will have the responsibility of dealing with students, parents and other stakeholders to implement the scholarship program efficiently.Key responsibilities:Administration: Collaborates with the Program Manager to organize and execute program activities, including monthly catch-up meetings and other events or workshops. Ensures all documentation complies with program standards and requirements.Communication: Serves as the primary point of contact for students and parents, providing them with necessary information and addressing any concerns. Facilitates effective communication to ensure all parties are informed and engaged. Maintains daily communication with students to gather updates, assess progress, and provide support. This includes checking in on their academic and personal well-being and offering guidance when needed. Organizes and leads weekly check-in meetings with scholars to monitor their progress, address challenges, and provide encouragement. This consistent interaction helps in building a strong rapport and trust.Documentation: Build relationships with scholarship organizations to secure scholarships for students. Collaborate with the team to create a scholarship pool to support students in college admissions. Overseeing all scholarship programs administered by Avanti Fellows.Alumni Network: Accurately records all interactions with students, ensuring that comprehensive records are maintained. This includes documenting updates, concerns, and any interventions provided. Keeps detailed logs of all communications, whether through email, phone, or in-person meetings.

1. Lead-RMLE is expected to design the framework, implement processes & protocols to carry out regular monitoring, scheduled evaluations and share learnings in consensus with our partners / stakeholders2. S/he will work with all internal and external stakeholders to identify research opportunities with respect to improvement in primary health care delivery, NCDs and RMNCH+A.7. S/he should be able to write research papers to publish in peer reviewed national and international journals; as well as be able to present papers in various forums.Work closely with Program / Project Managers to support a culture of reliable research, planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and reporting. This includes developing frameworks, indicators, reports. Updating, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation of activities and events of all service lines, building capacity of project teams, partners in M&E, and promoting RMLE knowledge transfer internally in PPP and CSR/COP projects of DBC.
