Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Assurance: Inspect components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using precision measuring instruments (CMM, vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges).Process Audits & Line Quality: Perform regular in-process quality audits on the shop floor to identify non-conformances, operational risks, and process deviations.Core Quality Documentation: Prepare and maintain quality documentation including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOPs.Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead defect investigations using problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why analysis, Fishbone diagram) to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Supplier Quality Management: Inspect incoming raw materials and vendor components (IQC); coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality defects or material non-conformances.Calibration & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all shop floor measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment are routinely calibrated and maintained in working condition.Customer Interaction: Handle customer complaints, process rejection reports, and prepare formal response reports to ensure high customer satisfaction ratings.
