Detailed Job description:As a senior Oracle APEX developer responsible for designing developing and implementing high quality Oracle APEX applications promoting them to PROD environment offering Post production support The ideal candidate should have a sound working background in Oracle APEX development database designing modeling and be able to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX.Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages and triggers to support application functionality. Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes. Excellent understanding of Java Scripting HTML5 and CSS.Collaborate with business data analysis and end users Ops groups to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Good Understanding of Oracle database concepts.Perform unit testing, integration testing and assisting QA and UAT team to conduct SIT and user Acceptance testing.Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to technical and non technical teams.Mandatory skills: Oracle APEX, Javascript, Oracle PL/SQL

ResponsibilitiesPrepares and communicates detailed design specifications, including database design schema, application structure, screen layouts and report layouts. Interviews customers and studies appropriate reference materials.Designs, codes, tests and debugs programs which are efficient, adequately documented, and in compliance with pertinent Information Services programming standards and guidelines.Develops Windows-based and web-based software. Produces timely work and of high quality.Participates in team-oriented development environment. Keeps co-workers updated on project status that they are dependent upon. Works with other co-workers to produce on-time high quality solutions.Prepares and communicates plans to implement new applications in live-system environment, in coordination with customers.Provides training to customers, employing appropriate instructional delivery methods such as one-on-one instruction, group training sessions, written tutorials and computer-assisted instructions.Provides status of projects to team leader noting items accomplished and any project delays incurred. This experience could be acquired via an applicable internship.One year of experience/education working with at least one of the following: C#.NET, Java or Oracle PL/SQL.Experience/education working with relational databases and a development language.Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development methodologies.Knowledge in developing Windows-based software.Experience or education in developing Windows-based software.Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs.

Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle and third party tools. Experience with Oracle Version 10g, 11g, 12c Strong experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning, Ensure that database programs are in compliance with V3 standards. Hands on development using Oracle PL/SQL. Performance tune SQL's, application programs and instances. Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies. Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support. Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology and/or related discipline required.
