We are building a world-class manufacturing setup with a focus on quality, process discipline, and operational excellence.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Plant Head will have end-to-end ownership of the CCL manufacturing facility - from raw material intake through finished laminate output. This is a critical leadership role responsible for production targets, yield improvement, cost management, and team development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduction & Operations- Own and deliver monthly/quarterly production targets across all laminate grades- Drive yield improvement programs and reduce scrap/rework across the press, treater, and slitting lines- Monitor cost-per-sheet and identify levers to reduce manufacturing cost without compromising quality- Implement and sustain 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floorProcess & Equipment Oversight- Oversee operation of hydraulic multi-daylight presses, treater lines, and thermal systems- Ensure optimal functioning of oil heaters, boilers, and associated thermal infrastructure- Drive a culture of preventive maintenance - reduce unplanned downtime and improve OEE- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to manage planned shutdowns and upgradesPeople & Cross-Functional Leadership- Lead production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams across shifts- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and develop frontline supervisors and engineers- Coordinate with procurement for raw material planning (resin, glass fabric, copper foil)- Work with sales and quality on customer complaints, NCRs, and corrective actionsCompliance & Safety- Ensure adherence to factory safety norms, environmental regulations, and statutory compliance- Maintain all plant records, daily production logs, and MIS reports for management reviewCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience- 3-10+ years of experience in CCL, PCB, composites, or laminates manufacturing- Proven track record of managing multi-line production facilities- Prior experience in a plant leadership or operations head role preferredTechnical Knowledge- Working knowledge of hydraulic press systems and hot press lamination cycles- Understanding of thermal energy systems - oil heaters, boilers, heat exchangers- Familiarity with resin systems (epoxy, FR-4), impregnation, and curing processes- Exposure to quality parameters: peel strength, Tg, Dk/Df, thermal stressEducation- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, or Production Engineering- MBA or PG Diploma in Operations Management is an added advantageCritical Requirement: Must have hands-on experience managing a hot press production line in a CCL / laminates environment.REPORTING & LOCATIONReports To CEO / Managing DirectorLocation Plant Site, IndiaTeam Size 30-100+ (depending on phase)
