Location : KolkataPiping EngineerJob DescriptionCandidate should have skills in engineering and design of Process Piping with experience inMineral Processing plants like coal washing plant, Iron ore beneficiation plant etc.Design of slurry handling systems for mineral and mining projects. Preparation of Piping layouts for Process Plant buildings, utility areas, pipe racks, tanks etc.Good understanding of typical P& IDs of Mineral Processing plants.Good understanding of various pipe materials used, their connections, fittings used.Monitoring of piping designer work & providing technical guidance to Designers to carry outpiping design work as per the requirements of the Project.Interact with various disciplines for interdisciplinary inputs viz, Process, Instrumentation,Mechanical, Electrical.Understanding of Piping & Valve Material Specification with relevant AWWA, BS, ASTM, API,ASME and other international codes and standards.Understanding of Plot Plan, Overall Site Layout, Equipment Layout, Pipe Rack Layout, PipingGeneral Arrangement Drawings, Piping Isometrics drawings.Develop Piping GADs, Piping Isometrics and piping standard drawings, piping support drawings.Develop Design Criteria, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets. Technical Evaluations, Review ofdrawings and technical documents from SuppliersCapable of creating Bill of Quantity for Pipes & fittings, Preparing schedules, MTOs.Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures to meet all process deliverablesand activities.Good knowledge of industry codes and standards AWWA/BS/ASTM/ASME/NFPA(ASME B31.3,B31.4, B31.8)Education & experienceB.E/B. MALE MIN 6-8 YEARS IN Prior Experience of Mechanical (Piping) Site Execution is mandatory.Diploma in Mechanical with Knowledge of Mechanical Piping in Industrial / Construction ProjectJOB ROLE : Project site planning, Billing, Site team management & progress monitoring. Coordination with the Client, project site & office team. Sub-contractor, material & complete project handling. Provide general technical support to clients. Willingness to travel to any parts of the country and stay for the project execution and should have prior experience of handling construction/Industrial projects. Fluency in English, Hindi. Manpower management skill & Hardworking, should have prior experience of directly handling at least a team of 50 Manpower. Prior experience of mechanical (Piping) site execution is mandatory.
