Job descriptionResponsibilities:Blood Collection: Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples frompatients of varying ages and conditions, including infants, young children, and adults. Followproper protocols, techniques, and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and hygienic bloodcollection.Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain the blood collection procedure, and providereassurance and comfort to alleviate anxiety and ensure a positive patient experience.Address any questions or concerns from patients and their caregivers in a professional andempathetic manner.Pediatric Phlebotomy: Possess specialized skills and knowledge in drawing blood frompediatric patients, including newborns, infants, and children.Requirements:- Educational qualifications such as a DMLT (Diploma in Medical LaboratoryTechnology), B.Sc MLT (Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology),Diploma in Lab Technology, B.Sc Biochemistry, or a related field.- Certification or licensure as a Phlebotomist is preferred.- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist, with expertise in drawing blood from patients ofall ages, including babies, young children, and adults.- In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, blood collection procedures, andsafety protocols.- Familiarity with various blood collection systems, equipment, and specimen handlingprocedures.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients of diversebackgrounds and ages.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately label and documentcollected samples.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with healthcareprofessionals.- Knowledge of infection control practices and adherence to safety guidelines.- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality regulations related to patientinformation.- Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and patient needs.- Compassionate and empatheti
