Job description:The Computer Operator is responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the organizations computer systems and peripheral equipment. The role ensures smooth operation, timely processing of data, and troubleshooting of system issues to support daily business activities.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor computer systems, servers, and network operations to ensure continuous functioning.Perform routine system checks, backups, and data processing tasks.Operate and maintain hardware such as printers, scanners, and other office equipment.Identify, diagnose, and resolve system and application errors.Prepare and maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to system operations.Support users with basic technical issues and escalate complex problems to IT support.Install and update software, patches, and system upgrades when required.Ensure data security and follow IT policies and procedures.Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure compliance with operational standards.Coordinate with IT administrators and report system performance issues.Required Skills & QualificationsADCA/DCA12th or equivalent from recognized Board/University Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar technical role.Knowledge of operating systems (Windows).Familiarity with networking basics and system monitoring tools.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.Good communication and documentation skills.
