This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CNC programming languages, along with the ability to ensure efficient and accurate production.Responsibilities:CNC Programming (VMC Focus): Develop, write, and edit CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers using G-code and M-code, ensuring efficient and accurate machining operations.CAD/CAM Software Utilization: Utilize CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, PowerMill, SolidWorks CAM) to generate detailed machining instructions and optimize toolpaths for complex parts.Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and specifications to determine machining requirements.Tool Selection and Setup: Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures based on material, part geometry, and machining operations.
