We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in our workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while managing the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities in the machine shop to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.

- Manage Team Performance: Lead and support shop personnel, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and efficiency.

- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the required specifications and standards.

- Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all machinery is well-maintained and safe to operate, coordinating repairs and service schedules as necessary.

- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous operations without delays.

- Safety Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by ensuring all team members adhere to safety regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong understanding of machining processes. Attention to detail is critical, along with problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise in production. Effective communication abilities are essential for leading the team and coordinating with different departments. The candidate must also be able to work full-time in our Thiruvallur office, and we require male candidates for this role. A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement will be highly valued.
