Profile: Junior IT Project Manager We are seeking a part-time Junior IT Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. This role involves developing project plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and effective communication with stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an IT project management role with hands-on experience in IT project deliveries. Project Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices. IT Knowledge: Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience with the steps for deploying an application into production. Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate business needs in technical terms. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English. Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications: Agile Experience: Experience with Agile project management methodologies. Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in IT project management tools such as Jira. Scrum Familiarity: Familiarity with Scrum methodologies. Additional Tools: Knowledge of tools such as Visio, Google Workspace, Slack, and GitHub.Location : Coimbatore.Salary :Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional Information:This is a part-time position, requiring 2 hours per day/10 hours per week. The role can be performed remotely, provided there is a stable internet connection and access to a laptop. Prior experience in IT project management and familiarity with Scrum meetings and Jira are essential for success in this role.
