- Responsible for assisting in the handling of all passenger and cargo baggage at the airport terminal. This includes loading and unloading baggage onto aircraft and ensuring it is securely stowed.- Assisting in the transportation of passengers between the terminal and aircraft using airport vehicles such as trolleys or buses. Ensuring passengers board and disembark safely.- Conducting safety checks on baggage and cargo to ensure compliance with airport security regulations. Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.- Communicating effectively with passengers to provide assistance and directions as needed. Handling inquiries and resolving issues related to baggage or passenger services.- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the airport terminal and surrounding area. This includes clearing trash, debris, and snow during inclement weather.Skills and Expectations:- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and team members effectively.- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy baggage and endure long periods of standing and walking.- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling baggage and cargo.- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing work conditions at the airport.
