Person would be responsible for one or more of the following: Managing parts of construction projects, Overseeing building work, Setting out sites and organising facilities, Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly, Supervising contracted staff, Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales, Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager, Providing technical advice and solving problems on site, Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork, Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials.

Key Responsibilities:1. Supervise daily powder coating operations and shop floor workers2. Ensure proper surface preparation (cleaning, degreasing, phosphating) before coating3. Monitor powder coating application for uniform thickness and finish4. Oversee operation of spray guns, booths, and curing ovens5. Maintain coating quality and minimize defects like orange peel, pinholes, or uneven coating6. Control powder usage and reduce material wastage7. Ensure proper curing temperature and cycle time in ovens8. Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet dispatch timelines9. Handle minor equipment troubleshooting and report major issues10. Maintain daily production and quality records11. Ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE12. Train and guide workers for best coating practicesRequired Skills1. Knowledge of powder coating process and equipment2. Understanding of surface treatment and finishing techniques3. Familiarity with coating defects and corrective actions4. Leadership and team handling ability5. Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection6. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirementsTake measurements and calculate the size and amount of material neededCut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurementsBuild window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed itemsLay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatibleCarve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designatedInspect places and conduct repairs or maintenanceBuild scaffolding and other construction structures
