Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management: Maintaining optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.Inward & Outward Processing: Inspecting incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO) and ensuring outgoing goods are dispatched with proper Gate Passes or Invoices.Documentation: Managing records such as Goods Received Notes (GRN), Bin Cards, and Delivery Challans.Stock Verification: Conducting periodic physical stock audits and reconciling them with ERP or Excel records.Warehouse Organization: Ensuring materials are stored safely, labeled correctly, and organized according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.Coordination: Liaising with the Purchase and Production departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel is essential; experience with ERP software (like Tally, SAP, or Busy) is a major advantage.Attention to Detail: Precision in counting items and verifying technical specifications (part numbers, dimensions, or grades).Physical Stamina: Ability to handle on-floor activities, including supervising loading/unloading.Honesty & Integrity: High level of reliability, as the role involves managing valuable company assets.Experience: 1-3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing store environment.

Responsibilities:Overall Store Operations Management:Oversee all daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring security measures are in place.Manage and monitor the point-of-sale (POS) system, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and security.Ensure proper visual merchandising, product display, and store layout to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.Maintain all store assets, equipment, and infrastructure, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant statutory regulations.Sales & Target Achievement:Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, meet, and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Motivate, coach, and guide sales associates (if applicable) to achieve their individual sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.Implement promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and special schemes effectively to maximize footfall and sales.Analyze daily/weekly sales data, identify trends, and take proactive measures to capitalize on opportunities or address shortfalls.Inventory & Stock Management:Manage end-to-end inventory operations, including receiving goods, conducting quality checks, proper storage, dispatch, and stock transfers.Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile inventory records, and take measures to minimize shrinkage and damages.Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, coordinating with the purchase/warehouse team for timely replenishment based on sales data and demand.Customer Service Excellence:Ensure all customers receive excellent service, a pleasant shopping experience, and their needs are met with professionalism.Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and promptly, escalating complex issues to higher management when necessary.Work towards building strong, lasting customer relationships and fostering customer loyalty.Team Supervision & Development (if applicable):Supervise, train, and mentor junior store staff (e.g., sales associates, store helpers) on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.Manage staff schedules, attendance, and leave requests for the store team.Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment within the store.Conduct basic performance reviews for store staff and identify training needs.Reporting & Communication:Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, stock reports, cash summaries, and other operational summaries to management.Communicate effectively with area/regional management on store performance, challenges, market feedback, and local initiatives.Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for effective communication with local customers, staff, and vendors. Good English proficiency is necessary for formal reports and corporate communication.
