Job Description: Hardware Electronic Design Engineer Position Title: Hardware Electronic Design Engineer Location: Noida Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: [ 25 years] Reports To: Head of Department About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Electronic Design Engineer to join our R&D/Engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and validating electronic hardware systems for our products. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in circuit design, PCB layout, and debugging, along with experience in working with embedded systems and electronic components. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for new and existing products. Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD). Perform circuit simulations, component selection, and feasibility studies. Collaborate with firmware/software engineers for system integration. Conduct prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware designs. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and EMC/EMI requirements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design reports, and test plans. Support manufacturing and production teams during NPI (New Product Introduction). Continuously research and implement emerging hardware technologies to improve product performance and cost-effectiveness. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred). Proven 26 years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development. Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power supplies, and signal integrity. Proficiency with schematic capture & PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD). Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and embedded hardware systems. Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc.). Skilled in using debugging and measurement tools. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-speed PCB design and layout. Knowledge of FPGA basics and programmable logic. Hands-on exposure to power electronics Experience in DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacturing/Testing). Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink). Soft Skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication.
