Design Engineer Fresher

We are seeking an innovative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Design Engineer to conceptualize, model, and detail mechanical or structural engineering components. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, conducting engineering calculations, collaborating with production and fabrication teams, and ensuring all designs meet industry standards, client specifications, and safety codes.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Modeling

3D Modeling & Detailing: Develop accurate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D production/shop drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Tekla Structures).

Engineering Calculations: Perform structural, mechanical, or tolerance calculations to ensure product strength, safety, and functionality.

Design Optimization: Modify and optimize existing designs to reduce material costs, improve manufacturing efficiency, and resolve shop-floor assembly issues.

Documentation & Coordination

BOM & Documentation: Generate comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM), part lists, cutting schedules, and technical documentation for production release.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with production, quality control (QC), and sales teams to align design parameters with manufacturing capabilities and client requirements.

Revision Control & Engineering Changes: Maintain rigorous version control for engineering drawings and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) accurately.
