development lifecycle-from requirement analysis, circuit design, schematic creation, component selection, PCB layout review,

prototype bring-up, debugging, testing, validation, and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess a strong

understanding of analog and digital electronics, schematic design, PCB design principles, and hardware debugging techniques.

Key Responsibilities

 Designing analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits, preferably high-speed designs.

 Develop and maintain hardware schematics using Altium Designer (or equivalent PCB CAD tools).

 Support complete PCB design activities, including component placement, layout review, routing review, and manufacturing

considerations.

 Perform component selection based on electrical specifications, availability, cost, and reliability.

 Prepare circuit calculations, design documentation, BOMs, engineering change notes, and technical reports.

 Design and Review schematics and PCB layouts for electrical correctness and manufacturability.

 Participate in prototype assembly, board bring-up, hardware debugging, and validation.

 Perform functional testing and design verification using laboratory equipment.

 Analyse circuit failures and support root cause analysis (RCA).

 Verify signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC design practices.

 Support DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Test) activities.

 Ensure compliance with company design standards and engineering documentation practices.

Key Technical Skills

 Good understanding of Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, and Power Electronics.

 Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design fundamentals.

 Experience with schematic design using Altium Designer (preferred) or similar PCB CAD tools.

 Basic understanding of multilayer PCB design concepts.

 Knowledge of PCB stack-up, component placement, routing, grounding, power planes, and decoupling techniques.

 Understanding of high-speed PCB design fundamentals, differential pair routing, impedance matching, and signal integrity.

 Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly requirements.

 Familiarity with PCB design guidelines including DFM, DFA, and DFT.

 Understanding of hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, LIN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and GPIO.

 Knowledge of microcontrollers, processors, memories, power supplies, clock circuits, and peripheral interfaces.

 Ability to read and interpret component datasheets and reference designs.

 Familiarity with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters, function generators, and DC power

supplies.

 Understanding of hardware validation, functional testing, and troubleshooting techniques.

 Knowledge of ESD, EMI/EMC, protection circuits, and hardware reliability concepts.

 Familiarity with BOM preparation, component lifecycle management, and engineering documentation.

 Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

 Good communication and teamwork skills.
