programming and set up CNC to complete new products/different functionschange the tooling of the CNC machineObserve machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining using precision measuring instruments such as a micrometer and dial caliper.adjust machine control, including part processverify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instrumentsgenerally monitor the work being undertaken and completed, testing and taking agreed critical measurements to identify problems and the need for adjustment, etc, and to immediately make any adjustments as necessarypost-edit CNC programme to fine-tune process for optimum performanceundertake agreed CNC inspectionMaintain accurate data, records, and documentation associated with your workcarry out planned tasks in accordance with contracts/requirements on services and associated systemscarry out tasks within allotted time limitsensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation, including health and safetyimmediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to the line manager.contribute towards the smooth running of the teamresponsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controlsadhere to all organisation policies and procedures

Minimum 1-3 years experience in Setting and Operating CNC / VMC / Turning / Grinding machine. Having experience in grinding will be an added advantage. Should have experienced in both infeed and through feed grinding. Should be able to read and understand drawings, work instructions Should be able to do setting change over indepedently. Should have hands on experience in changing and dressing of Grinding wheels. Should have knowledge and skill of using measurement instruments like Micrometer, Vernier Caliper etc. Should be flexible to work in shifts.
