JOB DESCRIPTION Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for sheet metal cutting as per job specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and production schedules. Monitor machine operations, adjust parameters, and ensure precision cutting within tolerance levels. Perform routine checks on machine calibration, lens/nozzle cleaning, and alignment. Optimize material utilization and minimize wastage. Conduct quality inspections of finished components using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges). Maintain production records, job sheets, and machine logs accurately. Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating technical problems when necessary. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance schedules.
