We are seeking a skilled CNC VMC Setter with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Kharadi, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical machining centers (VMCs) to produce high-quality parts.Key Responsibilities:- Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC VMC machines by installing necessary tooling and fixtures according to specifications.- Programming: Read and interpret technical blueprints and CNC programs to ensure correct machining operations.- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of produced parts to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed.- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.- Collaboration: Work closely with team members in the production department to support workflow and meet deadlines.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must possess a diploma in mechanical or manufacturing engineering. A strong understanding of CNC VMC operations, machining processes, and blueprint reading is essential. You should have hands-on experience with different machining tools and a keen eye for detail to ensure part quality. Good problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work independently and operate as part of a team. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to safety protocols while maintaining productivity. Effective communication skills are also important for collaborating with colleagues and reporting any issues that arise during production.

1) Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.2) Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.3) Create and modify CNC programs (G-code) to ensure optimal machining.4) Select and install proper tooling, jigs, and fixtures.5) Monitor machine operations to ensure high-quality output and adherence to tolerances.6) Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.7) Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges, etc.).8) Coordinate with the production and quality team for process improvements.9) Maintain records of work performed, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.10) Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area, following all shop-floor protocols.
