Our Client, a precision manufacturing business known for high-integrity, safety-critical and bespoke machined components serving oil & gas, engineering, aeronautical and manufacturing industries, is hiring a CNC Programmer for its Bengaluru operations. The CNC Programmer will create, optimize and support CNC programs for turning and milling operations, improve cycle time, support prove-out and production, and drive process improvement in a precision machining environment. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, with both turning and milling programming preferred.Key Responsibilities: Create and modify CNC programs for turning and milling parts; develop toolpaths using CAM software; support first-piece prove-out and process stabilization; improve cycle time, tool life and machine utilization; coordinate with operators, quality and production teams; troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvement; assist in machining strategy, tooling and setup optimization.Required Skills: Turning and milling programming, CAM software knowledge (Mastercam, Edgecam, NX CAM, Creo Manufacturing or equivalent), toolpath optimization, cycle time reduction, production support, process improvement, ability to work in both metric and imperial dimensions.Education: Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Tool Engineering preferred. Certifications in CAM software (Mastercam preferred), Lean/Kaizen and GD&T understanding are a plus.Preferred Industry Background: Tool room, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Precision manufacturing, Advanced CNC machining.Salary: Up to Rs 50,000 per month depending on expertise. Full-time position, general shift or as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:1. Create and review CNC programs: Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for precision machining based on engineering drawings and specifications.2. Set up and operate CNC machines: Set up machines including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces, and operate them to produce accurate and high-quality parts.3. Monitor machine performance: Keep track of machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure smooth production processes.4. Conduct quality checks: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.5. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to improve processes, address challenges, and meet production goals.Required Skills and Expectations:1. Proficiency in CNC programming: Strong knowledge and experience in programming CNC machines using software such as Mastercam or G-code.2. Technical expertise: Understanding of machining processes, tools, materials, and reading engineering drawings to create accurate programs.3. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to optimize machining operations.4. Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in programming, setup, and operation of CNC machines.5. Communication skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively about programming and machining requirements.
