Receive raw materials, components, consumables, and other materials from suppliers.
Check quantity, material specifications, and physical condition against the required documents.
Assist in proper material identification, tagging, and storage.
Maintain proper arrangement of sheet metal, components, tools, and consumable items.
Issue materials to production departments against authorized material requisitions.
Maintain stock records and update ERP/software or manual registers regularly.
Support physical stock counting and reconciliation.
Inform the Store In-Charge about shortages, excess stock, damaged material, or discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain GRN, material issue slips, transfer slips, and other store-related documents.
Follow FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
Ensure proper handling and storage of sheet metal and other materials to avoid damage and wastage.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments for material requirements.
Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the store area.
Ensure materials are stored safely and locations are properly identified.
Support loading and unloading of materials when required.
Follow company safety rules and procedures.
Perform any other store-related duties assigned by the Store In-Charge.
