role overview
as a sales manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and client acquisition. you will engage with potential investors, understand their needs, and guide them toward suitable equity portfolios or trading solutions.
this role is ideal for someone who understands the investing, stock market & mutual fund, has experience in financial product sales, and is excited to help clients grow their wealth through structured investing.
key responsibilities
lead generation: identify and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels
client engagement: educate potential investors on stock market investing and our offerings
portfolio & trading advisory: match clients with:
equity portfolios
index derivatives (options & futures)
equity derivatives
option strategies
commodity derivatives
sales execution: pitch and close investment solutions including:
mutual funds
equity portfolio's
growth investing smallcases
equity & derivative trade plans
target achievement: meet client onboarding and revenue goals
crm & follow-ups: maintain records, nurture leads, and build strong client relationships
what we’re looking for
education:
bachelors degree must ( - preferred)
nism certification (preferred – series xv)
experience:
minimum 2 years in sales of mutual fund, equity, equity portfolios, pms, aif, mutual funds, or vc products
minimum 2 years of exposure to equity + derivatives markets
trading experience is a strong plus
skills:
strong understanding of equity market basics and derivative strategies
excellent communication & consultative selling ability
target-driven, organized, and self-motivated
prior experience with crm or sales tracking tools is preferred
