We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Residential Solar Project Sales Representative to generate leads, consult with homeowners, and close sales for residential solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, networking, and company-provided marketing campaigns
Conduct in-home and virtual consultations with homeowners
Educate customers on solar energy systems, financing options, incentives, and long-term savings
Assess customer energy usage and recommend appropriate solar system solutions
Prepare and present customized solar proposals
Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Follow up with prospects and nurture long-term client relationships
Stay updated on industry trends, local regulations, and incentive programs
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred but not required)
13+ years of experience in sales (solar, home improvement, real estate, or related industries preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable with door-to-door sales and in-home consultations
Basic understanding of solar technology and financing (training provided)
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
