Job description:
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive with experience in selling leatherette / upholstery fabrics to clients in the cinema and entertainment industry. The role involves business development, client handling, and project-based sales for cinema halls, multiplexes, studios, and production houses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage sales for leatherette upholstery fabrics used in cinema seating, interiors, and studio setups
• Build strong relationships with cinema hall owners, multiplex chains, interior contractors, architects, and set designers
• Identify new business opportunities in new cinema projects, renovations, and studio developments
• Conduct product presentations, fabric sampling, and pricing discussions with clients
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order execution
• Prepare sales quotations, follow-ups, negotiations, and order closures
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements in the cinema industry
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in sales of leatherette, upholstery, fabric, interiors, or furnishing materials
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Experience working with multiplex projects or auditorium seating suppliers
• Knowledge of B2B project sales
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and customer-focused
• Ability to work independently and close high-value orders
• Strong understanding of cinema seating materials, durability standards, and fire-retardant norms (preferred)
• Good network with cinema industry stakeholders, interior contractors, or project consultants
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle project-based sales cycles
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / CRM tools
