Job Brief: Manager Retail Sales (DG Sets/Genset)

South:

Bangalore | Hyderabad | Chennai

We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to drive our Retail Diesel Generator (DG) Sales across South India. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our market footprint, managing dealer networks, and delivering reliable power solutions to a diverse retail segment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth: Drive retail sales volume and market share for DG sets within the assigned South India territory.

Channel Management: Identify, appoint, and manage a robust network of dealers and distributors to ensure product availability and brand visibility.

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer requirements to refine sales strategies.

Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with local influencers, consultants, and end-users (SMEs, residential, and commercial sectors).

Reporting: Manage the sales funnel from lead generation to payment collection and after-sales coordination.

Requirements

Experience: 510 years in Retail Sales specifically within the DG Sets/Genset industry.

Education: ./ in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. An MBA in Marketing is highly preferred.

Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the South Indian market and local business dynamics.

Skills: Proven track record in dealer management, excellent negotiation skills, and a result-oriented mindset.
