Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations and ensure smooth production processes
Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet business demands
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
2. Production & Efficiency
Monitor production performance and implement improvements for efficiency and cost reduction
Minimize downtime and ensure preventive maintenance of equipment
Track KPIs such as output, waste reduction, and productivity
3. Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Implement quality control processes and monitor product quality
Address and resolve production or quality issues promptly
4. Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Promote a safety-first culture and conduct safety audits
Implement policies to reduce workplace hazards and incidents
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, motivate, and manage plant staff including supervisors and workers
Conduct training and performance evaluations
Foster a positive and productive work environment
6. Budget & Cost Management
Prepare and manage the plant budget
Control operational expenses and optimize production costs
Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
7. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Oversee inventory management of raw materials and finished goods
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams
Ensure timely availability of materials for production
8. Continuous Improvement
Drive lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives
Implement process improvements and innovation strategies
Analyze performance data and recommend enhancements
