role brief

as a sales specialist, you will not only be responsible for generating and converting leads, but also for owning the client relationship throughout its entire lifecycle. from the first cold call to final onboardingand every step afteryoull ensure the clients experience is seamless, value-driven, and aligned with their long-term goals. youll also be instrumental in designing and setting up our internal sales process and crm infrastructure, offering you a unique opportunity to shape how sales and client success function in our organization.

based from our hq every day, youll sync with leadership to review progress, refine outreach tactics, and keep your pipeline clean and accurate. this role allows you to shape our internal sales infrastructure, providing autonomy and the chance to make a real impact on processes, tools, and results.

location: bangalore, india (office-based for daily updates, field visits as required)

experience: minimum 3 years in b2b salestelecom, cpaas, or related sectors

education: undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience

key responsibilities

1. generate leads through cold calls, personalized emails, and professional networks.

2. define, implement, and refine a robust sales process encompassing lead capture qualification nurturing conversion.

3. serve as the single point of contact (spoc) for all assigned clientsbefore, during, and after the sale

4. coordinate with internal teams (support, tech, onboarding) to ensure successful activation and continued satisfaction

5. monitor client usage, upsell relevant features, and ensure contract renewals and retention

6. handle post-sale queries, feedback loops, and maintain long-term rapport with key decision-makers

7. evaluate crm platforms (., salesforce, hubspot, zoho) and collaborate with in-house tech teams to build or customize a crm/lead management system.

8. maintain real-time lead data trackinghot, cold, converted, bouncedin crm; submit weekly pipeline reports.

9. meet or exceed monthly lead generation and sales conversion targets.

10. attend daily in-office meetings to provide updates and align on sales strategies; dedicate field time for client meetings.

11. use crm insights and analytics to propose data-driven improvements to outreach and conversion tactics.

12. deliver polished presentations and proposals to stakeholders across technical and business roles.

required qualifications

1. undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.

2. minimum 3 years in b2b sales within telecom, cpaas, saas, or tech-enabled services.

3. proven track record of quota attainment in sales roles.

4. proficiency in crm tools (salesforce, hubspot, zoho, or similar) and comfort with new system implementation.

5. strong analytical skillsability to interpret crm metrics and drive process improvements.

6. excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation abilities.

7. strong interpersonal skills with a client-first, relationship-building approach.

desired skills

1. familiarity with sms, email, whatsapp business api, rcs, and voice communication solutions.

2. experience managing client relationships post-sale and driving account growth
