Job Description

- develop and implement hr strategies aligned with the companys business goals and operational needs in the mining sector.

- partner with senior management to forecast workforce requirements and succession planning for both corporate and field operations.

- oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for technical, operational, and managerial roles across mining sites and corporate offices.

- build relationships with universities, trade schools, and professional bodies to attract skilled mining and engineering talent.

- foster a positive and compliant work culture across all project sites.

- manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy and labor laws.

- ensure compliance with local, regional, and international labor regulations relevant to mining operations.

- maintain updated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations impacting employment practices.

- implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee productivity.

- identify training needs and coordinate technical, safety, and leadership development programs for staff.

- design and manage competitive compensation structures, incentive schemes, and benefits tailored for remote mining site employees.

- conduct regular market benchmarking and salary reviews.

- support employee well-being initiatives and occupational health programs.

- formulate, review, and update hr policies to reflect industry best practices and organizational values.

- ensure effective communication and enforcement of hr policies across all departments. maintain accurate hr records, analytics, and reports for management review.

- utilize hr software systems to track employee performance, attendance, and compliance metrics.

- collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to support csr initiatives related to employment and workforce development in mining areas.
